संस्थेच्या माध्यमातून आजवर १९०० हून अधिक दुर्गदर्शन मोहिमांचे आयोजन करण्यात आलेले आहे. या मोहिमेचा प्रमुख उद्देश देशातील वेगवेगळ्या राज्यातील गडकोट यांचा अभ्यास करणे, गडकोटांची बांधणी पद्धत, संरक्षणदृष्ट्या असलेलं महत्व, या गडकोटांची दुर्गमता हि सर्व वैशिष्ट्ये यांचाही अभ्यास करण्यात येत आहे. गडकोटांची छायाचित्र घेऊन भविष्यात त्या छायाचित्रांच्या माध्यमातून संस्थेच्या इतर सदस्यांना त्याचा अभ्यास करता यावा हाही एक मुख्य उद्देश आहे.
